Mark it or lose it

Dear SHAPE members,

As a part of the National Safety Plan, the Police are willing to conduct, "Mark it or lose it”, a special campaign to secure individual property.

Valuable items registration form

To achieve our goal, we need your support and your participation in this one.

The Federal Police are currently working hard on diminishing the rate of house break-ins in the Mons area.  In order to improve our way of identifying targets, as well as increasing our capability to return stolen items to their rightful owner, we are asking for your collaboration.

Indeed, we have just issued a brand new "valuable objects recording form”, which we are making available to you at the SHAPE Federal Police, as well as during the Newcomers’ briefing, and in the next issue of the SHAPE Community Life.

This form is designed for you to gather all the necessary information about the valuable objects you own within your house (brand names, serial numbers, etc) …. "Just in case”.

We strongly encourage you to collect a copy of it, fill it up, send a copy to your insurance company and, if you desire to do so, provide a copy to the Judicial Section of the SHAPE Federal Police.  This form would greatly help us keep track of those objects, in case they get stolen and, even more importantly, get them back to you.  Once again, just in case.

If you have any question, feel free to contact the SHAPE Federal Police – SHAPE Ext 3334 or commercial 065/44.33.34.
