Post Office at SHAPE Closed

THE BELGIAN POST OFFICE IN BUILDING 102 CLOSED ON 23 DECEMBER 2011

The Belgian Post has decided to reduce the number of Post offices across the country. The Belgian Post Office at SHAPE, Bldg 102 was one of these.

The closure of the Post Office at SHAPE will not have a major impact on the life of the SHAPE community.

For "regular postal services”, the "Point Poste” located at "Carrefour SHAPE” already provides the same services than the Post Office at SHAPE offered.

There will be no changes to household mail delivery. The postman will keep on doing his current job.

For "Post banking” (deposit, house rent and other payments) no consequences are expected as the Monte Paschi bank at SHAPE, bldg 102 will provide the same service for SHAPE staffs.

For specific cases (invoices above 300 €), visit the various Regional Post Offices.
