Bus Stop Location at BIA
BUS STOP at Brussels International Airport
The SHAPE shuttle bus stop is located on level "0” one floor down from the arrivals hall. This level is accessible by elevators or escalators. Passengers being conveyed either to BIA or from BIA will be dropped off or picked up at the same bus stop.
Passengers to BIA follow the sign airport to access the departure hall. Passengers for SHAPE should exit level "0” turn right outside and follow the footpath to the indicated civilian bus stop. SHAPE buses have the same location as the Hotel shuttles. The Hotel shuttle bus lane is easily recognisable as it is coloured in yellow (lemon). The waiting zone for the buses is indicated on the surface of the parking area, and equipped with benches. There is a shelter for inclement weather.
SHAPE buses wait in this area. When the driver registers at the BIA building and there is no passengers on the bus the bus door is locked. Please be patient until the driver returns to the bus.
SHAPE buses are distinctive in colour, either white with a green stripe (large buses) or royal blue (smaller buses). All buses bear CHB number plates (silver letters on the black background).
The passengers should be at the stop by the time shown on the schedule (Available on the SHAPE Wise Portal or NR system – in all issues of "SHAPE Bulletin”). The bus will not depart earlier but if the bus does not arrive on time please wait, as it has probably been delayed by traffic.
Conference and meeting organisers, sponsors should advise their visitors about this option (completely free of charge) to get to SHAPE.
