You may end your lease if you received orders to depart SHAPE.
You must give your landlord a written notice one full calendar month before you move out. You have to send it through registered mail or hand-deliver it with proof of receipt. The full month starts on the first day of the month after the letter is mailed. For example, you mail the letter on the 15th of June, the one month notice period will start on the 1st of July. Also, be aware that when you move out, one month started is one month due. For example if you move out of the house on a 5th of September, you will owe the landlord the whole month rent.
Concerning final utilities bills, the IHO inspector will take your electricity, gas and water readings and will communicate them to the different companies the evening of your out-inspection. IHO will get the final bills at the most 48 hours after submission. Since you have to pay those bills and show us the proof of payment to get your clearance document stamped, plan your out-inspection accordingly.
