Selling to Belgian Dealership
Sellers must give the buyer the following documents:
Note: Often the dealership will take responsibility to have the vehicle CT inspection completed. If this is not the case, the seller MUST request from the CT for the document referenced to be sold to a "BELGIAN INHABITANT”. It CANNOT read "TRANSIT”, otherwise it is invalid.
- ‘Certificate of Conformity' to European/Belgian regulations. You may find this document from the dealership or your vehicle manufacturer (a fee may apply).
- Current registration certificate of the purchased vehicle.
- Invoice/Bill of Sale. You MUST have the bill of sale stamped by the Belgian Customs office, bldg 210, rm 111A. Standard forms are available from the Central Processing Branch-Registration Section (CEP-RGN), bldg 210, rm 109-110.
