Vehicle Road Tax Exemption: Each SHAPE sponsor ("green” I.D. card holder) must register his/her cars under the SHAPE system within 7 days of his/her arrival date. Although only one car is a road tax-exempt vehicle.

SHAPE Sponsors are authorised to purchase TWO import tax-exempt vehicles during his/her tour within a time frame of three years.

Fuel Rations: Each SHAPE SPONSOR ("green” I.D. card holder) is authorised to have to ONE fuel ration card, regardless of how many vehicles are owned/registered in Belgium.

Dependents are NOT AUTHORISED to have fuel rations, only the sponsor.

"White” and "yellow” SHAPE I.D. card holders are not authorised to have these privileges. Reference: SHAPE Directive 100-2, Vehicle Registration and Operation
