CONTRACTOR/CONSULTANT

Contractors should register in Belgium through the local commune (Contractors must comply with the right of residence and procedures in Belgium) before taking any appointment in SHAPE.

In case of a cross border worker, SHAPE requires a proof of residency from the commune of the country in which you reside and an annex 15 from the commune in which you work.

All non-EU contractors, with the exception of UK citizen benefiting from the withdrawal agreement, should have a Single Permit (Combined Work and Residence Permit) before starting to work. Required social documents will be checked by the relevant HR Department.

Documents necessary for SHAPE ID:

SF 94: completed electronically, signed and stamped by your HR Civilian Personnel Department.
Contract.
Original Belgian registration document from the commune accompanied by one copy, valid for the duration of the current contract.
NATO Security Clearance Certificate
SF 1 (SHAPE Security Pass Application): signed/ stamped by the responsible Division Security Officer (DSO).
ACE Form 107 R Jul (Personnel Security Clearance): signed/stamped by the responsible DSO.
European National ID/Passport
