If the vehicle was bought within a tax-free scheme in Belgium, then article 42 shall be mentioned on the invoice (E.g. "Exemption de la tva – article 42 alinea 3 du code” or "vrijgesteld van btw – artikel 42 alinea 3 van de code”). Same applies for both: TAX FREE and NOT TAX FREE Vehicles and Motorcycles

If you buy a vehicle (new or used) from Belgium, do not forget to provide the original "Demande d'immatriculation" (Pink Form document) and to specify in your original invoice your personal Belgian home address.

New Vehicle 

(< 6 Months AND < 6000 Km)

2. Certificate of Conformity (if applicable )

3. Original invoice, with: 

• Dealer's name, address and VAT Number
• Purchaser's full name (the name of the sponsor, Entitled "SHAPE AMIS” ID card holder)
• Invoice number
• The date of purchase
• Chassis/VIN number
• The purchase price
• Sponsor's address (must be a Belgian private address)

5. Demande d'immatriculation:

• Name (must be in the sponsor’s name)

• Expiration Date (must have more than 31 days of coverage from the day of registration)

• Chassis number (must be the same on all the documents)

• Address in Belgium (APO, BFPO Boxes are allowed)
  
  

7. Original registration certificate 

Certificat d'immatriculation of the Previous owner, from dealer or private seller.

8.  Purchase outside Belgium

In case of purchase outside Belgium, but in the EU:

• (Temporary/Export) Registration in name of the entitled person (sponsor`)
• If the Registration (Temporary/Export) document is not on the Sponsor's name, then a Controle Technique Certificate and Pink Form are required, regardless of the vehicle's "age".
