The International Library at SHAPE is a welcoming space for reading, learning, and connecting with the community. It offers a wide range of materials in 20 NATO languages, including books, DVDs, video games, music CDs, and language learning resources, along with access to eBooks, e-magazines, audiobooks, research databases, computers with Internet and Microsoft Office, and free Wi-Fi. 

The library hosts a variety of activities for all ages, including multilingual story times for children, science and technology classes, and programs for teens and adults.

The SHAPE International Library has a growing collection of “nontraditional” items, available for check out with your library account! Look for items marked as part of our “Library of Things” to find so much more to check out than just books. And don’t forget to check back regularly, because new items and kits are always being added! We have musical instruments, tools, baking tools, CD & Blu-Ray players, projector & screen, telescope and more! 

Calling all makers! The SHAPE Makerspace and Learning Centre offers a collaborative space for learning, creating, and experimenting. Our DIY studio offers opportunities to learn how to use many crafting tools, to include sublimation & heat pressing, 3D printing and laser engraving.
